You know how you think you know how you're going to be spending your time on a particular day? And it turns out you're completely wrong? Well, I just had a day like that. Have you too noticed that your computer has made most of your home library obsolete? I am thinking about getting rid of my encyclopedias. They just take up lots of valuable room and I have not used them in years. I know there must be some details in them that isn't on the Internet yet, but the Internet has the advantage of being up to date. Especially important if you want information about your health, but I guess if you just wanted information about 5, it wouldn't matter so much. It is truly the most spell-binding thing. These people that have lawn signs in their front yard during voting season. Arggh! Popups. Not one, not two, but how about 10 pops. Pop, pop, pop, after another. What the hell is wrong with some webmasters. I mean, do they have some sick perversion to do this to people. Or do they really think that it's going to work. I mean, do they really thin, If I only just get one click out of 10 pops, I'll be doing good or something? I mean, come on. This has got to be one of the reasons people hate visiting websites. And then there is now the popup stopper software people make money off of. And those people use popups, too, which is the funny thing. Nothing like creating markets. All I say is, if someone could chill on the OCD popup site, that would be great. Well, just had to let off some steam after spending the last hour trying to get this machine going again. Wouldn't you know, everytime I tried to do anything, it would just freeze up. I've turned this thing off and on so many times, I think I wore out the off/on button. Well, after much yelling and screaming and calling it a lot of names, maybe it got scared into working again - well, sort of. Sure hope it hangs in there until I get my research job for 10 done. Then I'll have to take a serious look at this machine. Hope I can fix it, really don't have the money right now to buy a new one. Bummer. Well, back to work.

I nearly froze yesterday doing chores for all the livestock. Good thing I have help out there doing the water and feeding. It was so cold the water was freezing in the tubs almost as quick as I could put it in. Sure hope everyone got a good drink before it froze over again. After chores, my husband and I went to town to run some errands. I swear it got colder as the day went on. By the time we got our shopping and dinner done and got home, I was more than ready to sit at my computer next to my personal heater and just cruise the web looking for info on index for the newest site I'm looking to build. I tell you having chores to do outside, not to mention the errand-running in town, makes me so happy for a nice cozy computer and desk where I can just spend time checking out information on index and whatever else I want to do.
